1st Annual 1st Responder Trunk or Treat

October has been a very busy month. From natural disasters, trainings, public relations, and our normal calls for service. This past Sunday we went to the 1st Responder Trunk or Treat at the Cane Creek Sportsplex. This was sponsored by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, It was great day to get out and connect with the community and other emergency service personnel. It was great to see all the great costumes and smiling faces. We can not wait till next year!

Putnam Rescue Drone Team deploys to East Tennessee

We're thrilled to announce that our dedicated drone team has returned home safely after a 7 day deployment to assist in the Hurricane Helene search and rescue efforts. Their hard work, expertise, and commitment made a significant difference in providing crucial aerial support to those in need.

The team was assigned to Carter County for the majority of the deployment, where they assisted in searching areas inaccessible by ground personnel. They briefly assisted the efforts in Unicoi County before being assigned to assist the formation of the Northeast Tennessee Disaster Relief Center. There, they assisted with planning the traffic flow pattern and even stepped in to assist unloading a tractor trailer full of donated supplies.

To everyone who supported us, thank you! Your encouragement fuels our mission to help communities in times of crisis.

Let’s keep supporting those affected by Hurricane Helene as they rebuild.
